Why do we learn Economics?
Economics helps students understand the forces that shape modern societies: how individuals, firms, and governments make decisions, and how these choices influence how resources are used. By studying Economics, students learn to interpret and evaluate the systems and policies that affect prosperity, stability, and fairness within and between nations. The subject develops disciplined reasoning and a clear understanding of behaviours and society.

Our approach
Students follow a structured curriculum that builds understanding of both microeconomics and macroeconomics. In microeconomics, they study how markets work, why they sometimes fail, and how governments can respond. In macroeconomics, they examine national and global economies, analysing growth, inflation, employment, and trade.
Teaching focuses on clear explanation of key principles, regular practice in applying models and developing precise written and graphical analysis. Students are encouraged to question assumptions and apply their knowledge to real-world issues.
