Safeguarding

We recognise our moral and statutory responsibility to safeguard and promote the welfare of all children with their best interests at the centre of our work.

Welcome from our Designated Safeguarding Leads
Report a safeguarding concern

Welcome from our Designated Safeguarding Lead

We strive to create an environment in which children feel safe, secure and respected.

We encourage them to talk openly about anything that worries them; and help them feel confident that they will be listened to. Adults in our school take all welfare concerns seriously, are alert to the signs of abuse and neglect, and trained to follow our robust procedures to ensure that children receive effective support, protection and justice.

Below are links to resources where you can annoymously report concerns and find further support.

  • Online Safety Policy 25-26 (357.36 KB)

Report a safeguarding concern

At Ark Soane there are lots of ways to access support in school – speaking to form tutors, class teacher or a member of the safeguarding team.

Students can also use SHARPs, an online form that is found on the school website that is sends a message to the safeguarding team – you can use this at home. It is only monitored in term time. This is an avenue for students to raise concerns or ask for support, if as parents you have concerns you should continue to contact the office or email info@arksoane.org

The SHARP System

Other places to get support are; Mind, The MIX, Childline, NSPCC, Circle Café and Kooth
