Dear Parents and Carers
Dear parents,
It was a huge pleasure to welcome so many of you to visit the school and see your children working hard in lessons on Friday. I felt truly humbled by the recognition from all the visitors of just how committed, hard working and talented school staff are. If you didn't have a chance to attend then the next opportunity will be on Friday 27th November. We will send out further details nearer the time.
It was also a great pleasure to see Y11 Parents on Thursday. This is a huge year for your children and we are exceptionally grateful for your support. They will have their 2nd of 3 GCSE mock exams straight after half-term and should now be well set in their GCSE study habits - with daily revision alongside their homework.
This week we look forward to welcoming all of our Y9 parents to hear more about the year ahead and greet their tutors on Thursday.
Coats and jumpers: Pupils will be outside at the start of day, break time and lunch time unless there is a significant storm or adverse whether event. Please make sure your child brings suitable wet-weather and cold-weather uniform as we approach the cooler months of the year.
Thank you for your support in dropping and collecting children from school. Please continue to avoid entering Woodlands Avenue (the small road at the side of Chaiwala) as this endangers our pupils and there is no space to turn around.
Further dates for your diaries:
8/10: Y9 Meet the Tutor Evening
16/10: School closed for INSET
22/10: Sixth Form Information Evening
23/10: Last Day of Half Term
This Week's Highlights
A huge well done to our Year 7 footballers on their first very first Ark Championship! Great effort from both teams. Standouts were Eknoor for the girls, Yujiro for the boys with some unreal dribbling, and Saif who kept the boys unbeaten with big saves and strong leadership. We can't wait to see you all on the pitch again soon!

This week saw our annual Year 11 art exhibition - this year with added work (and curation) from our wonderful Year 12 students! Students had 3 weeks to conceive and create their work and they were solely in charge of the creation, interpretation, and presentation of the exhibition. They did a fantastic job and it was loved by students and teachers alike.
You can see from the faces of 9 Ramesses just how impressive our student's artwork is...
