Dear Parents and Carers
Thank you for all the support that you have provided to your children over the last two weeks of exams. Pupils have felt exceptionally well-prepared, appreciative of the support they have received and understanding of what they need to do to achieve even greater success in future exams. I couldn't be prouder of them.
As we go into the final 3.5 weeks of term we have lots of celebrations: a fete, a concert, a sports day and multiple trips. Outside of these events lessons and homework will continue at our normal pace - school time is too valuable for us to do anything else. Please support your child by ensuring they remain on top of their homework as we go into the end of the school year.
Hotter temperatures and longer evenings can lead to pupils gathering and creating issues for themselves and others at the end of the school day. Please ensure that you are aware of your child's whereabouts at the end of the school day, that they are going straight home from school and that pupils are changing out of their uniform if out in the afternoon/evening.
Please remember that every child is legally required to attend through to the end of term. We do not want any children missing valuable curriculum time or our important community activities which will continue all the way through to dismissal at 12.45 on 23rd July.
This week we have our fete on Thursday. This will kick off at 2pm and ticketed parents are welcome to join us. Children not staying for the fete will be dismissed at 2pm and will need to make their way straight home. School will be closed to all pupils for INSET day on Friday.
I hope you enjoy the remainder of the weekend.
Kind regards,
Mr Neuberger
This Week's Highlights
It was Key Stage four's turn to take on exams this week, and the year 10s have been working incredibly hard to get prepared with their revision and set themselves up for success.
In the meantime in lessons, Ksawery has been impressing Ms Back with his paintings. Ksawery has recently taken an architecture illustration workshop and was able to use these skills to create some fantastic art work as a result!

It was also a big week for the year 8 girls rounders team, who had an exciting tournament against Brentside on Thursday. Unfortunately, the girls suffered an 10-4.5 loss, but there were some great performances from Flo, Harman, Widad, and Malk in the heat. Well done all!
