Dear Parents and Carers
I hope you are enjoying the long weekend.
On Wednesday of last week we hosted our annual "Monitoring Visit" during which Ark Schools brought trained inspectors into the school to conduct an OFSTED-style inspection of the school. The inspection found that provision at Soane continues to be outstanding across all areas. The summary of the report is below:
Standards across the school are exceptionally high. This includes standards of behaviour, of pedagogy and of engagement in lessons. Pupils at Ark Soane benefit from consistently high-quality lessons, which help them to make rapid progress through the curriculum. Leaders have taken effective steps to remove barriers to learning: every pupil is ready and equipped to learn every day, and lessons run smoothly, free of any disruptions whatsoever. Pupils, staff and leaders are rightly proud of their school.
I am hugely grateful to pupils, staff and parents for their continued support of the school.
This coming week we are delighted to host our GCSE information evening for pupils and parents in Y9. If you have not yet RSVP'd then please do so as soon as possible here https://forms.office.com/e/0UUd7F1ZQC.
I look forward to seeing pupils tomorrow.
Kind regards,
Mr Neuberger
This Week's Highlights
The sun was out this week and the students got to enjoy it on the MUGA playing a range of sports. Tutor groups of the week Year 9 and 10 Ramesses had a basketball showdown at lunch whilst soaking up the good weather, and Pickleball started out as a new club for Summer term and had such a high turnout.

On the topic of new clubs, Japanese club made its debut this week and was met with so much eagerness and positivity. The students rose to the challenge of learning a new language with a remarkable thoughtfulness and made Mr Manners and Ms Rogers so proud.

Rounding off the week on Friday was the Senior Ealing Athletics championship for the year 9s and 10s. The students were a credit to the school and had some fantastic results across all events, with special shoutouts going to the medalists Yushin, Ramzi, and Eabha!
